we are very pleased that you are considering your options to spend your exchange period at Karlovac University of Applied Sciences (KUAS). Karlovac University of Applied Sciences is a public higher education institution established through the departments performing 8 undergraduate studies (Gamekeeping and Environmental Protection, Mechatronics, Food Processing Technology, Nursing, Safety & Protection, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Hospitality) and 3 graduate studies (Business Administration, Safety & Protection, Mechanical Engineering). With the launch of the Bologna Accord, by building quality assurance systems and initiated international activities, we started with the process of joining the European Higher Education Area. Our University is a relatively small one if compared to other European universities but we try to develop into a modern European institution of higher education, and to become a regional center of knowledge, research and excellence.
All our efforts are directed towards the constant increase of teaching and studying quality. We also offer you a high student standard concerning accommodation, subsistence, learning facilities and other student services. Our staff at International Office will assist you with answering all questions that you may have, they will help you to settle in and to adjust to living and studying in Karlovac.
